Wisteria, a true Southern Belle in Laurel
The elegant home was purchased in 1972 by the current owners, Peggy and Earl E.Schneider, Jr., a third generation Laurelite.
Wisteria opened as a bed and breakfast in 2004.
Historic Wisteria features exquisite original windows with Czechoslovakian hand-made leaded and beveled glass windows, considered the finest in Laurel. Other features are the antique Venetian crystal chandeliers and original architectural elements through out the house.
Wisteria, the lavender house, is located across the street from Mississippi's first museum, the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art.
