  Wisteria Bed and Breakfast is located in the heart of the historic district at 706 North Fifth Avenue, Laurel, Mississippi 39440.
The price for each suite is $115.00 plus tax, charge for extra person over 12. Credit cards and cash accepted. Call for reservations 601-426-3805 or email wist706@comcast.net. Cancellation policy, must have 72 hours notice.
A complimentary Southern gourmet full breakfast is prepared and served each morning to guests. 
Historic Wisteria was built in 1901 for one of the founders of Laurel. Silas Wright Gardiner, He was one of the owners of Eastman, Gardiner Company, Laurel's largest and most successful lumber company. 

Foyer - Welcome to Wisteria Bed and Breakfast. All pictures are of public rooms (bedrooms are private) for the use of the guest, including the veranda and courtyard.


Wisteria is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a pivotal structure and is located on prestigious North Fifth Avenue. North Fifth Avenue is lined with majestic oak trees in the heart of the Historic District.


Wisteria was purchased in December, 1972 by the Schneider family and opened as a bed and breakfast in 2004

 The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art, Mississippi's oldest museum, is located on the opposite corner from Wisteria Bed and Breakfast, the lavender house. Sarah Elizabeth Gardiner Eastman, wife of Lauren Chase Eastman and sister of Silas Wright Gardiner was the grandmother of Lauren Eastman Rogers. Located in walking distance, less than a mile, are Restaurants, Shopping, Churches, Courthouse, Gardiner Park with Walking Track, Daphne Park, Laurel Little Theatre and the Amtrak Train Station.


Each suite has a King Bed (Silas Gardiner Suite has a King Bed and a Single Bed), Cable TV, Free High Speed Wi-Fi, Private Bath with Tub/Shower, Ceiling Fan, Desk, Hair Dryer, Iron, Ironing Board, Central Air/Heat and a Comfortable sitting area. A refrigerator, coffee pot and microwave oven are available to guests. Complimentary beverages are available.


Silas Gardiner Suite is located downstairs with a KING bed, SINGLE bed, PRIVATE bath tub/shower. This was the original bedroom of Silas and his wife Louisa Gardiner.


                    Wisteria Suite is located upstairs with a KING size bed, PRIVATE bath, tub/ shower.



Magnolia Suite is located upstairs with a KING bed, PRIVATE bath, tub/shower.

Parlor - The drapes are a copy of the ones in the Blue Room in the White House


Bill Holloway, playing the Steinway piano in the parlor is one of the architects for the HGTV show Home Town, filmed in Laurel. Ben Napier, singing is one of the stars in Hometown. The piano is available to guests.

Freshly brewed coffee and tea are available when you awaken.
A leisurely Southern gourmet breakfast is served on fine china with crystal, silver and linens. Enjoy the art collection and all of the cookie jars displayed.


French doors open from the Sun Room to the Veranda.
Enjoy visiting with friends, reading a book or just relaxing on the Veranda and Courtyard.
